Important Update: Statement Printing Services Back Online

XLDent is pleased to announce our recent integration with Data Media Associates (DMA) for statement printing services. Located in Alpharetta, GA, DMA is an expert in the patient statement industry, serving the healthcare market for over 40 years. Please note: This service replaces the previous one XLDent offered in partnership with Change Healthcare which has been unavailable due to the Feb. 21 cyber-attack.

If you were previously using statement printing services and wish to resume them, the following enrollment must be completed.

Here are some important notes regarding this service if you choose to enroll:

  • Our initial offering will be for our base template only (see example below).
  • We will offer the addition of logo's, color matching and enhanced templates in the future at no charge and will send a communication when available.
  • Pricing :
    • $1.05 per one page statement (duplexed)
    • $0.20 additional pages (duplexed)
    • $0.60 NCOA - National Change of Address (per lookup)
    • $2.20 International Mail per statement
  • And...new with this offering, you will be able to monitor the status and processing of your statement file. No more digging through email confirmations, access is a simple login away!

Claims and eStatements Update 5/10/24

DentalXChange Enhancement! For those that have enrolled with DentalXChange, we are happy to announce that the XLDent software now supports download of ERA (Electronic Remittance Advice) files into your XLDent database. Claims submitted after 5/10/2024 will be linked. There are 2 steps to enabling ERA's.

  1. Payers require enrollment for ERA, use this link to enroll: https://www.dentalxchange.com/channel-partner/lp/xldent
  2. XLDent support must update files on your computers. Please reach out to the XLDent support team at 866-450-6717.

We will continue to make improvements to our DentalXChange solution for a better user experience.

Change Healthcare Update. Currently there is no ETA on restoration of the Dental Claims network. If you are interested in enrolling in DentalXChange, you may do so HERE.

DentalXChange. If you have completed the interest form and have not connected with the DentalXChange team, please call 800-576-6412, ext. 455. The DXC team will help establish or locate your existing account, discuss the desired solutions, assist with billing setup (it is helpful to have credit card info ready), and finalize your DentalXChange enrollment.

Patient Statement Print Processing. XLDent has partnered with a new vendor for patient statement printing. We are in the final stages of this process and expect to begin onboarding soon. More information to follow by the end of the week.

DentalXChange Claim Update

As Change Healthcare continues to work on service restoration, we are currently helping customers get set up with DentalXChange that will allow claims to be submitted directly from the XLDent software.

If you have already completed an interest form, please note that due to the high volume of requests, response times may be delayed. At this time you should have been contacted by a DentalXChange representative. If you haven't connected with them yet, to get assistance with enrollment you may contact the DentalXChange team at 1-800-576-6412, ext. 455. The DXC team will help establish or locate your existing account, discuss the desired solutions, assist with billing setup (it is helpful to have credit card info ready), and finalize your DentalXChange enrollment.


Frequently Asked Questions:

  • By completing the interest form, am I enrolling in DentalXChange?
    • No. Completing the interest form let's us know that you are interested in learning more about this option. You will be given the opportunity to decide once you speak with a DentalXChange representative.
  • Is DentalXChange a permanent solution?
    • Yes, we plan to continue our partnership with DentalXChange as an additional integrated claims processing solution.
  • Will I be able to resume processing with Change Healthcare once services are back online?
    • Yes. Once Change Healthcare services are back online, clients will be able to choose to return to Change Healthcare or remain with DentalXChange.
  • What is the price for DentalXChange?
    • 51 cents per claim, billed directly by DentalXChange.
  • Is there anything else I need to know about this option?
    • As our development team continues to enhance the integration with DentalXChange, please note the following :
      • eClaim report responses and eligibility checks are not available at this time within XLDent however, you may utilize the DentalXChange portal for this information.
      • ERAs cannot be received automatically at this time.
      • NEA FastAttach can be used as before.
      • The CHC Attachment service is not available due to the outage however please inquire during your enrollment with DentalXChange.

If you are not interested in the DentalXChange solution you may continue with our previously recommended options until Change Healthcare services are restored. Other options:

  • Apply for temporary funding assistance. Optum (Change Healthcare) has expanded their temporary funding program.
  • Upload claims directly to payer portals
  • Print and mail claims
  • Manual submission through another clearinghouse

As Change Healthcare continues to work on service restoration, we are pleased to announce that we have built an integration with DentalXChange that will allow claims to be submitted directly to DentalXChange from within the XLDent software. This option will not require a manual file upload as with other clearinghouses that are not integrated with XLDent.

If you have already completed an interest form, please note that due to the high volume of requests, response times may be delayed. DentalXChange representatives are working diligently to reach out.
